that's me, your mom, working on the big Painting at Nelson's! LOL
here it is finished. (except for trim on top which will get finished Thursday if I can get a taller ladder.)
I am hopeful that the picture will spark some conversation about coming events and what, if anything people can do to prepare themselves and their families. The changes coming are going to be terrifying to some folks. Those who aren't prepared to "roll with the punches" so to speak. People who have their entire lives invested in the current system, they will have the hardest time.
there are two scriptures in the painting, I know you can't see them clearly in the photos, but around the angel's halo, it is Rev. 18:2 "Babylon the great is fallen is fallen and is become the habitation of devils..."
that's a part of the scripture but gets the point across.
at the bottom is Rev. 16: And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
that one is for the Gulf of Mexico disaster.
(Keep your eye on that situation girls, it is a game changer for sure.)
anyway, this next weekend is the Blue Plum art show and with any luck I might get to go Sat. Neighbor said she'd take me. I have quite a few drawings and paintings to show so I kind of need to be there. LOL I'll go Sat. anyway.
