IOUSA

Good morning girls, I found a 30 min, condensed version of I.O.U.S.A. the documentary about our national debt.
Make sure you watch it, maybe we'll get the full version soon.
Here's the site where I found it and where you can comment, (like I did. hehehehe)

IOUSA

The more I thought about it and watched the video, the more pissed off I got. They failed to mention the BILLIONS in unclaimed social security money collected every year mostly from undocumented workers.
Those folks, have in the past, made up SS# to get jobs and of course never collected on that money. What a robbery, what a scam, to steal the money we have paid in and then turn around and act like the boomers are the root of all economic evil in this country.
Anyway girls, watch the video and tell me what you think.

Don't try and blame Obama for that one. From what I could find out about it this morning that's been in the works for some time. Since BO
(Before Obama)
It's not clear what exactly the UN want to do at this point but it will be interesting, and so far, nothing whatsoever to do with Obama.

A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

Obama's bill has only six co-sponsors. They are Senators Maria Cantwell, Dianne Feinstein, Richard Lugar, Richard Durbin, Chuck Hagel and Robert Menendez. But it appears that Biden and Obama see passage of this bill as a way to highlight Democratic Party priorities in the Senate.
